WOW the proposed tunnel that would link Alaska to Rusia would open up some great gold prospecting and other Treasure Hunting opportunities.
From The Alaska Daily News
The proponents of the 64-mile tunnel are not working off an original idea.
Over the past 150 years, at least one Russian czar and several American entrepreneurs have devised plans for linking the continents.
The latest Russian concept is a tunnel tying Russia’s Chukotka to Alaska’s Cape Prince of Wales as part of a hoped-for continuous railway from London to New York. More than 6,000 miles of new rail lines — about half laid in Siberia and the remainder in Alaska and Canada — would connect the railheads on both sides. Siberian oil, gas, hydroelectric power and fiber optic cable could be exported through pipes built beside the high-speed rail service, they said.

Thought I would take some time to reflect on my first gold dredge and how it came to be mine. After years of looking around and going to every manufacture out there, it soon became apparent it was going to be a costly matter. Living in Southwestern PA the dredge season is short and options on where to find gold are limited to at least a 2 hour drive one way, so spending a few thousand dollars on a Gold Dredge was out of the question.
Why I needed the dredge was the first issue. We all start out with the number 8 backhoe (that’s a shovel) a bucket to carry the material in and a gold pan. This all quickly escalates into more and more equipment. We are always looking for better quicker ways to do things. Like adding more classifiers and other toys. The main reasons was I wanted one.

Why not? If you have the knowledge, experience, and the passion, you can certainly create a metal detecting book all by yourself. If you think penetrating the paperback market is too lofty a goal, then you can try publishing an E-book first.
WRITING SKILLS AREN’T NECESSARY.
It’s not important if you’re not blessed with a talent for prose; you can easily employ a ghostwriter to do the writing for you. Or, if you wish to try it out with your own words, go ahead and do so, then have a professional edit your work.
HAVE A TARGET READER IN MIND.
Do you wish to address the needs of novices or advanced metal detecting enthusiasts like yourself? Perhaps, all you wish to do is share anecdotes about metal detecting, the small but infinitely funny episodes that many a metal detecting hobbyist could easily relate to.

A necessary and important course in scuba diving is a scuba diving certification, which teaches a diver all the scuba theory as well as practical performance of open water scuba diving, without which one will not be able to dive, and taking any risk is not an option either. There is a lot of scuba diving certification classes in nearly all cities where one gets an actual training in a swimming pool. Another option is to get certified in a favorite diving destination where a lot of scuba diving resorts offer certification courses, which is often a good option as the training precedes loads of open water dives on the reef where a true taste of the dive is experienced.
So how does one get a scuba diving certification? Well, getting a scuba diving certification is moderately challenging and a fairly involved process, but is all worth it because of the underwater freedom it gives a certified diver. There are certain steps to be followed:
